Probably the highest profile application of the PinPoint visualisation software is in golf broadcasts. Viewers will be familiar with the fly-throughs showing the flight of the ball and where it lies in relation to the fairway, green or pin.

These visualisations enhance the viewers' enjoyment and understanding of the coverage, as they show the viewer exactly what the golfer sees rather than an artificial high camera angle that tends to flatten out the landscape. The coverage also includes additional information, such as angle, elevation, distances and obstacles such as trees and bunkers.
